Am I Too Old to Pursue My Dreams?

Do you ever feel like you’ve missed the boat on certain aspects of your life? Do you feel like you’re too old to pursue the life of your dreams?

Is life not going according to plan and now feels like it’s too late for you to get the things you desire? I think we all live with some timeline for our lives — married by 25, kids by 30, independently wealthy by 40 and retired in Hawaii by 65.

Except, I didn’t even start Lillian & Co. until I was 40, and I’m currently still paying on my student loans.

Life never goes according to plans. It seems to have a mind of it’s own leading us down a winding road of valleys and mountain tops completely disregarding our personal timeline.

Today, I want to remind you that it’s not too late for you. You can still have all the things your heart desires.

But maybe it’s just not going to look like how you expected it to look.

Geppetto was well past the traditional age of finding his true love and starting a family, but he decided not to give up on his dream. And even took some very intentional steps to make it happen.

You don’t have to have life all figured out.

And your journey won’t (nor should it) look like anyone else’s journey. This is yours. Customized for you.

Now, take that timeline that you’ve been holding on to, chop it up and use it for kindling to fuel the flame of your desires. Go after your dreams.

No matter how old you are.
No matter how lost you may feel.
